OpenDNS

A Domain Name System (DNS) stores Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of domain names such as puissance.ca. Every time you type that domain name, it sends a request to the DNS and the DNS resolves the IP. If you want it to resolve faster, I would suggest that you change your DNS servers to OpenDNS servers. They are quick and they correct spelling mistakes. They even show their system status if there are any failures. Furthermore, if you recently registered a domain and was wondering when you’ll get to access it, you can check the DNS cache at http://www.opendns.com/cache/. Their website includes instructions on how to change your DNS servers. An improvement that I would like to see is that they add some more locations, possibly even in Canada.
