Time Synchronization

Recently, when I try to synchronize my clock in Windows XP, I get a “The peer’s stratum is less than the host stratum” error. The default time server is time.windows.com, but you can easily change it to a closer (and faster) time server. The error will disappear and your clock will synchronize faster.
To change it, double-click on your clock down at the bottom-right and switch to the Internet Time tab. Edit time.windows.com to:
time.nrc.ca – If you’re in Canada
time.mit.edu – If you’re in USA
time.utoronto.ca – If you’re in Toronto
Click on Update Now and you will see how fast it synchronizes. Click on OK and you’re done!
In addition, just run a Google search for a time server near you and change it to that. It’s not a big deal, but I thought that some people will like it.
