Correcting Posture
By improving and correcting my posture, I will appear more confident and more credible. By appearing more confident, I will feel confident about my appearance and in myself. And the best part is that it’s healthy and you can do the same! WikiHow has a good article on how to improve your posture. I generally do abdomen exercises for core stability. A great warm up is the plank, which I hold for 2 minutes. I hope to post my exercise routine soon, but I haven’t been doing much exercise since I’m in school now. Anyway, I’ve been attempting to improve my posture everyday and here are some tips:
Standing/Walking:
- align your ears, shoulders, and hips
- stand against a wall or use a mirror to help
- keep your alignment in mind when you’re walking
- keep your head up when walking, don’t stare at the ground
- look around, observe the world, be confident
Sitting:
- slide your buttocks as far back as possible
- keep your back against the backrest
- align your ears, shoulders, and hips
- plant your feet
- keep them at a 90 degree angle
Now, for those core muscles, I hold the following position for 2 minutes:

With a correct posture, you’ll be walking around with more confidence. Post a comment and let me know how it goes for you.
