Hi Peter,

Thanks for watching the videos. I'm guessing that you are trying to make the snare sound crisper and higher pitch. To get the higher pitch, you need to squeeze your lips and make them tighter. You can also roll your lip inward a little (very slightly) and squeeze down as if you are trying to hold a piece of paper with your lips. As you release the air, place your top teeth on your bottom lip for the "ff" sound. The crispness of your snare depends on how quickly you release the air, so by squeezing your lips, there is more pressure and it results in a crisper and higher pitch sound. I hope that helps.

Hey hey. I pretty much mastered the base kick and the snare drum (even with humming). I just wanted to ask if you could help me with what you did in that video. You used your high hats in the video as a constant rhythm and beatboxed the snare and base kick while still keeping that rhythm with your high hats. Could you break that down so I can practice on it and try to master it too? It sounds awesome.

Hey Hey Puissance. I've managed to get my bass kick and snare really well, and I'm working on putting them into a beat. Can you help me with what you did in that video? You put your high hats into a rhythm and then you beatboxed the base kick and snare while keeping your high hats rhythm. Can you break that down so that I can learn it too? It sounds awesome!
