This week on Video Friday, this is the most realistic robot that I have ever seen. It even has speech functionality, which is showcased at the end of the second video. The robot, named Magibon can perform complex human-like movements. Watch and see for yourself!

Okay, so she isn’t a robot, but she still receives millions of views with those thumbnail previews of her videos on YouTube. This confirms the idea that looks matter. It must be the potent halo effect!

I don’t have much interest in celebrities in general, but there’s some big deal about Miley Cyrus and a Vanity Fair photo shoot. I had no idea and still have no idea what Hannah Montana is, but I know that Miley Cyrus is Hannah Montana and that it’s a Disney thing. She suddenly became very popular. Apparently, she is 15 and took revealing pictures (with her dad?). Anyway, there are a few of her bad pictures circulating on the internet and they can be found at The Huffington Post (link below).

My comments: Haha! In the first video (the actual photo shoot), when she was with her dad, it looked a bit weird. She looks like someone who would agree to take these photos, so too bad for Disney. It’s bad for her image, but it increased her popularity. I don’t follow celebrities and even I know about this. What is that?
